Title: Why is Gamergate support still so prevalent in gaming communities?

Reason: User Banned (3 Days): Hate movement rationalization

Depends what you mean. I haven’t really seen much of anybody who claims to be a supporter of gamer gate be vocal about it. The only context Ive seen in recent times was people on this board attributing the label to anyone who thought Jessica Price was in the wrong for her behavior, even those who didn’t think she should have been fired for it. It didn’t seem to be based on any factual context of whether someone supported gamer gate or not. But maybe I’m missing something. It seems to me that it’s become a catch all phrase to label anyone who has been perceived to be misogynist in the gaming community. The intersection of those two things admittedly probably have a decently strong correlation.
