Unless there's a rule against it, Saban will probably hire a few hundred GA's to push all the players around in their beds. Bed ridden except for practices and games. Honestly, there's not really a way to avoid this. Don't think there's treatment to strengthen/harden knee ligaments. If there was, I'm sure the NCAA would ban it (HGH-type stuff), and who knows, it might make it harder to move. Wonder if there's some genetic predisposition to how sturdy a person's knee ligaments are. I don't know if Terrell has had a tear in his past (wasn't his injury last year a bicep or pectoral tear?)

The moment that I personally think, is when Yo-Yo goes to Coulson directly, about the "saving Coulson destroys the world" idea. Might have been as late as the beginning of the last episode. It's the only thing that I think could push Phil into the plan of faking a recovery. But then, the Daisy yelling at the Quinjet always happens, but we can only assume that she's always yelling at Coulson. You couldn't see him on the vid recording from earlier in the season. Here's a Bear McCreary BTS on music in AoS, though it's more of a "lets listen to the main action bit from the finale" which is still good.

Hard to do speculation on Captain Marvel, but I've seen people mentioned maybe this is how Fury loses the eye, and the whole Skrulls/"trusts few people" thing happens. Maybe Coulson is proven trustworthy in the midst of that, and is why he and Fury were always that close (and why Fury would do the things he did to bring Coulson back). So, taking that thought into account, maybe it's a decent sized role. Early 90's, right? If Coulson is basically the same age as the actor, he'd be late 20's/early 30's. Definitely an agent. Think May's supposed to be the same age. So yeah, I'd kill for an Agent May cameo.

I assume people have thought about it, but I'd love for some further connection between the Kree, SHIELD and not being surprised to see Blue Aliens (since they've had a blue guy on ice since WW2 i.e. Agent Carter -> T.A.H.I.T.I.) Wonder if Carol gets revived by the Kree/Kree Blood, and that's where SHIELD made the connection! Maybe a little for Clark. At least a Wig and some tape to pull back his face skin.

Only thing I think I could add, is I kind of thought some of those problems were because she was internalizing some of her powers, like "holding back." Which would cause those fractures. Maybe it's something were she stopped doing that. But more than likely, they just wanted to move past it for time/budget. Don't think she wears the gauntlets anymore.

Went back to see how things shaped up with the last appearance with Quinn, reina and the gravitonium. It works out, in the 1st half of the season 1 finale. Best guess as to how Reina could “know” what was going to happen, I can only guess it was another crazy thing said by Garrett, post-Kree syrum. Also, doing so lead me to watch the 1st five episodes of season 2. Miss Tripp and Hunter. Bobbi just got on the scene in that 5th episode. Lots of Fitz issues on hand, as he’s trying to work back from his injury. Also remembering the little glimpses of his darker side (torturing Ward). Think I remember him going to dark places in his search for Simmons in S3.

My guess, the sliver of rock back at the machine, was enough to teleport Deke. Remember, the old monolith to the alien planet, had pieces cut out of it, and those pieces alone, were enough to make a portal. So, my guess on new characters: Kaisus' dad in the past, the General who capped those 2 subordinates (she's wanting inhumans), and Coulson and his Ghost Rider deal (and his newly infected chest). Throw on Dark Fitz, and a dash of Yo-Yo wondering how much she'll tell about what she knows. Oh and Nickelodeon Disney Jr. Star girl.

I guess the question I have, is: Is the "Flashback/2018-2022" May/Fitz/Jemma/YoYo the May/Fitz/Jemma/YoYo of what could be the "original timeline" where the crew doesn't get kidnapped at the Diner and things proceed normally. Or are they the May/Fitz/Jemma/YoYo that got sent to the future, found a way back, and have failed to stop the world ending, and are currently doing the legwork needed for the future. I mean, I think it's the latter one, what with May and Robin's past and future conversations. But didn't Fitz mention Voss in the past, as if he's in another room. I think some mentioned that the Marvel version of time allows for those strange paradoxical issues, by basically treating everything as a parallel universe. So, they could bring Deke and Flint back in time, "fix" the future, and they'd still be alive in their present, because it's a parallel universe from the one they grew up in. But this really means, the original AoS universe, is technically gone. They've now figured out a way to "write" AoS out of the main MCU!

knock on wood, I've only broken the 1st knuckle (closest to fingernail) of my Right Hand middle finger. Playing the most brutal of all sports, flag football. Jamming my hand into some kids hip trying to get the flag. The Doctor I went to implied there's no real way to put a cast on it, so I had this finger split on for a few weeks. It healed enough to work, but my finger is crooked, maybe 1/2 a centimeter to the side, and I can tell it'll get hit with arthritis first when that inevitably hits me. My Handwriting did not get better, as did. I now view Bagels with the utmost of contempt.

Paterno was a walking corpse by that point, but they do bring up that shit happened since the 70s. After not being sure how Pacino would do in the role from the trailers, I found him to give an accurate representation of Paterno, in voice and body movement. No, but they did a quick recreation of him getting taken out at practice and busting a hip. The intro is a flash back and forth, between him inside an MRI machine, and the Illinois game (last game?). They have some ABC footage of that game, intersected with filmed bits to show all the various casted roles (the sons, the sideline, him in the pressbox, the 3 admins that eventually went to jail, and the main reporter). The video quality differences between the filmed and live clips were noticeable.

Oh waaaaah. Alabama lost half the staff, and most stayed in College Football, meaning direct competition in recruiting (and games potentially) rather than an entirely different level. that's not even remotely the right read on this. I agree with Mug. I saw every game OJ Howard could have played, and besides the Clemson games, it felt like multiple games would go by without Howard getting a catch. Him being #10 in the Alabama career books baffles me. Looking at the list, the top 10 all come from the last 15 years, except 1, and that ain't Ozzie Newsome. I have no memory of David Bailey. Howard's also #10 in receiving yards. Everyone in the top 10 averaged like 12-15 YPC, and then there's Ozzie Newsome at 20 YPC.

Best thing is: Some of Tua's downside that he showed in the game, are easily fixable issues (avoiding the bad sack, knowing you're in a running play and not a passing play, better ball handling on scrambles). Meanwhile, some of his pluses, are things that you can't "teach." Fromm can probably throw 50 yards easily, but can he throw it as if it was a slant/deep post? To top it off, Tua's arm speed on his release is nuts. Yeah, saw the CFBFilmRoom study on Fromm's pressure rates. Something like 51.4% of his dropbacks. Think that'll be the high for Alabama on the year. I know the TFL was the most on the year (12, next highest was 10 vs. Ole Miss)

On a rainbow vs a dart, is what I meant. Fromm can rainbow it, which is fine with no one over top, but it's just up in the air longer, and can allow WR's (and DB's) more time to react to where it's going. A Dart gives much less reaction time. If you can be accurate throwing that fast and low at great distances, you probably have NFL dollars in your future.

Yeah, that's about accurate. That pass barely made it by the LB covering the TE, and Ridley wasn't even seeable when he threw that (he had to be throwing to Najee). Also, Najee was being held from behind (but hey, he probably false started too). I'm just saying, if you can zip that ball into that hole on the sideline of Cover 2, you break the defense. The Safeties will play much closer to the sideline, and then the TE/Slot deep cross route is deadly, and also there's now huge holes down the middle, if you run in the middle of the field and get to the 2nd level.

add on 2 RB's that have signed (from what I can see). Kid from Louisiana that played QB and Jerome Ford. Both backs look to be on the smaller side, like Jacobs. Don't really see anyone else on the radar for this year at RB. I think Bama is still trying to get that McKee kid out of California or Foster from in state. Foster is 14th ranked Dual Threat and McKee is #3 Pro style. Then there's Tua's brother the following year.

Haven't quite found anything on Laura. If Locke and Key is this upcoming Netflix show, that appears to have lovecraftian stuff in it. Meanwhile, I'm hoping for some Cosmic Horror stuff, from whatever that was that flew at Holden at the very end. Something from the space between dimensions.

That’s how I understand it. They were under attack from something else, and went to the level of destroying stars to kill, or maybe to defend. I have wondered if the original speed limit was there as a defensive measure. Like, could this mysterious 3rd party only move at fast speeds? It’s basically Halo. An advanced species, having to kill off/destroy lots of things, to stop another species (the flood). But they died, leaving behind their technology. I need to start the 4th book.

Also rushed on Melba, as there really wasn’t any conversation between her and the Rock crew, nor really any discussion on the fact she started the whole mess with her frame job of Holden. Not a lot of epilogue, just a montage.

Feels like she would. She got to the point of recognizing that while they were stuck there, the rest of the ship was leaderless and in chaos. Knowing she was already injured (probably moreso than Ashford), she took on a much more serious injury to free up the 2nd in command for the good of the ship. That much altruism tells me she'd recognize the need for spinning up the drum, and she'd recognize that everyone else in the bubble would need it as well. There's also the possibility of Ashford (and theoretically Drummer), deciding to invite everyone else to the Behemoth, before Mars/Earth decided to invade and take over the Behemoth for themselves. In this situation, Gravity is as important a resource, as water and food are. Sneak Peak But, it's a gigantic doozy of one, like, it's surprising they'd talk about this here.

From memory, I think the original speed limit was something like 18,000 (but I'm not sure if that's in meters per second or miles per hour), but now it's something like 28 meters per second. Which, according to google conversion, is 62 mph. Goddam that's slow. Which, if it'll take 7 months to get back to the ring, means that the distance from the station orbit they're at, to the ring, is about 300,000 miles (7 months=210ish days=5040 hours x 62 miles per hour.) That's inside the distance between the earth and the moon. If it was the original speed limit was 18,000 meters a second, that same 300k distance would take something like 7 hours.

oh, I'm sure Imperial's probably not involved, but I and plenty other people are mentally stuck on it. I can't tell you how "fast" 100 km/h is, but I can "feel" how fast 70 mph is. Amurica. I do know, as a message in the book, the deceleration occurred over a time period of 5 seconds. I was also thinking of how fast the bullets would need to be going, to be stopped. But also thinking, they were fired before the grenade, which is what caused the slowdown. So those bullets would have only been going 18000 kmh. Which, I think, is faster than Bullets on earth go anyway. Basically, it feels kind of like an error. The fastest bullet seems to go about 4,000 feet per second, which is 4300 km/h, about 1/4th of the original speed limit. But then, it was Martian bullets, and maybe they go really fast.

The thing is, the bullets got caught before the new speed limit, and the old speed limit is 3-4 times faster than the earth's current fastest bullet. Holden should have still been shot. Only thing I'm not really sure on, is if you get stuck going "too fast", does the limit bring you down to a "stop" and then pull you in at an even slower speed than the limit. Then maybe that could explain why Holden didn't get perforated.

Makes me think, maybe Holden (back in Episode 1) had timed the "rendezvous" to take place during the flip portion of the Canterbury trip (the halfway point where the ship goes from accelerating towards the location, and flipping to decelerate to the location, meaning a small moment of Zero G time). Just to get in some Zero-G action. I kind of think it ties into her arc, of not just being a pastor (a role that's basically there to help/care for people), but also tie into whatever form of guilt she has for that officer who killed himself (and maybe for past issues, like her protest work in the past with the UN AG). Maybe she feels like she has the duty to try and get to Melba, to bring her back from the abyss.

Outer Planet Alliance Basically, anyone living past the orbit of Mars. They call people from Mars and Earth "Inners." The Problem at that point, is besides the small group of people trying to research the protomolecule, the majority of the government/people don't fully realize what Eros was. Too many on earth continue to think Mars had something to do with it. Ganemede also happened, where both sides get into a skirmish that they don't fully understand. Basically, there's been 100-200 years of distrust between the 3 factions, and it's too hard to overcome those types of prejudices overnight.

Really shows off how important lighting and camera is. It's a nice set, but filmed with a lower res/360 camera, and standard lighting, the "magic" is gone, and all that's left is a set. About to watch the Thomas Prince one. If anything, I hope that if Agents of Shield makes it past this season (say, onto a Disney Streaming service), and the ability to use some lower tier level Mutant/FF characters/plots becomes available. That would be great. Or maybe even Netflix-type shows. On the Movie side, yeah, I feel like Doom needs to be a Phase 4 thing, though if Captain Marvel is planned on being somewhat a Phase 4 starter, maybe now with all the Skrulls open to use (SuperSkrull), maybe a more cosmic "villain" for P4.
