I dunno, Anduin turning out to be evil would be lame. He's been portrayed as peace loving and not a warrior, uncomfortable with the role of battlefield commander. If anything, it would be better if his arc was that he's just not a great leader, and definitely not the battlefield commander his father was. Making him dark just because Garrosh was portrayed that way, and then Sylvanas got painted that way, is kind of a lame reason. Making him also dark in some way lacks nuance. Making him too idealistic for this terrible world, and a failure of a leader whose people lose faith in would be far more interesting. Maybe the Alliance story could evolve into players trying to keep the Alliance together as smaller splinter factions start to lose faith in Anduin's idealism and naivete. That way, it gives Anduin something he needs to prove both to himself and others, and we give him an opportunity to grow into the successor he's meant to be.

If you have a friend with a server (or at least with a domain on server space), you can just put the HTML page up there. You just need FTP access to upload it. Additionally, if you have a company site already, you could just make a new HTML, upload it to the company's site server space and test from there. Either ask the IT dept for FTP access, or if you can't do that, ask them to upload the file and send them the HTML file via mail.

Finished the first season a couple nights ago. Absoilutely brilliant. I asked my dad how much of the book the first season covers. His answer was "About 20%. They could easily get 5 seasons out of this." I thought it was interesting that starting out, I cared more about the current day plot more than the flashbacks, but as the show continued, I ended up caring more about Gaitonde's story than the current day plot. As a man of Indian descent, the show really spoke to me in a number of ways. The hindu/muslim animosity is real. Great to see a kickass Indian show on Netflix. It's very atypical in the Indian drama space. For crying out loud, there are BOOBS in the show. People in India have burned down theaters over less.

I'm only on the Sand Kingdom, but god damn this is amazing. I love the exploration, I love finding moons all over the place. It feels like the kind of game built for short bursts, but still paced properly for long sessions. I especially love how the game front loads some weirdness just to give you a taste of what the game is capable of throwing at you, and it's so incredibly endearing. I haven't really liked a 3D Mario in a while, but this is doing it for me. I can't wait to unlock more worlds.

A couple matches from a few nights ago, playing with Netto-kun and Hasemo. They have privacy settings on, so you can only hear my voice, but the first match I finally realized that people gang up on me because they see my P. Lvl and think I'm a scrub. That, it turns out, works in my favor as shown below. This second match we were fighting a pretty poor Cloud of Darkness that I pretty much harassed the whole match. The ending is pretty funny. (And yes, I play Noctis almost all the time. His Warp Assault HP attack that you get at lvl 10 is good shit)

Had some GREAT matches last night with Hasemo, and my friend from Q Games. Ran a group of Shantoto, Yshtola and Noctis, and we maintained about a 75% win rate. I'll probably be uploading a few of our best matches to Youtube later today. It's got an odd system, but it's actually not THAT complex. Some of the characters have some crazy unique mechanics, but if you play a Speed or Heavy character, and go through the tutorial, there's not a TON to pick up.

This is something I don't entirely understand myself. Strikes haven't had much of a use in D2 since the game started, tbh. They're not even in the Weeklies. That's so weird. My team is the opposite. Everyone on my team knows the raid inside and out, and we can do it all fairly quickly now. Meanwhile, Trials is like a waking nightmare of depression for us.

It's possible this is the case, because I like D2 a ton more than D1, outside of some glaring issues that are still fixable. I thought a lot of what D1 was trying pre-Taken King was just plain not good. After Taken King, I enjoyed the game a lot more, but still found the game to be a huge grind, but not in a good way. Destiny 2 over steered in certain aspects, and oversimplified certain things (some good, some not so good). I certainly like the base game a hell of a lot more than base Destiny 1. My issue is that Destiny 2 offered easier ways to get loot, which is great, but without a truly diverse or particularly large loot table. That's an issue, that rears its head in multiple ways (eg. lack of overall longevity, constant duplicates, no real reason to do certain pieces of content due to gear redundancy). I do think part of it has to do with balancing gear to meet balance in Crucible. I wouldve been happier had they kept the mad-cap perks for exotic gear and weapons, but made said perks only activate in Crucible, or only activate in PvE, depending on what said perk is. That way you get your crucible gear with its cool perks that work in crucible, and you get your PvE gear that has crazy perks that don't affect balance in Crucible. Then, even if you have your PvE gear that's largely the same power and stat between Nightfall, Raid, Vendors, etc., you can differentiate with niche perks that help especially in the path you received them from (eg. an exotic NF perk that rotates elements on your power weapon to meet Prism, or an exotic Raid perk that gives you the ability to do...something cool that's specific to the Raid). This is especially an issue for armor over weapons. While I think weapon perks right now are pretty boring, non-exotic armor just has no perks. Outside of cosmetics, there's no real reason to build an Iron Banner set, a Raid Set, and a Exploration set. (I do that anyway, because I love dressing up paper dolls) Add some cool little perks to gear, AND add the ability to make sets that I can switch to quickly with a click, and I'm a happy camper. Just my two cents. A lot of it can be added and changed with time, and they're clearly watching.

And some of the purples they dump on you, even in the intro, are legit good in PvP. Origin Story, Nameless Midnight, Uriel's Gift and Nightshade are all great guns for PvP, and the game throws them at you.

Yeah, I have no idea why the raid emblem doesn't track completions, unless the prestige raid one is the one that does, like the NF emblem you get from prestige. Is there really no Raid ship or sparrow? I figured I'd been unlucky, but after getting almost all the Raid guns and all the Raid armor for my warlock, i never saw anything of the sort drop.

I'd be happy with that. I still think Dawnblade and Voidwalker need work. Makes no sense to increase level but not PL. That means you'll be getting new gear that's just the same as your current gear, but stuck behind a level barrier. Then when you put it on it's...no better than what you had. of course they'll raise PL, but it won't be much higher. The upper barrier implemented in the game right now is 350 (though nothing drops that high right now), and they probably want to slowly reach that barrier over multiple DLC packs. It's likely we'll either see 310 or 320 be the max for Osiris.

Warlock jump has become a joke amongst the people I play with. It's fucking awful. You get great control upon descent, but forget doing anything useful on the way up. I will say that that Rift is AMAZING, though. I just wish Dawnblade and VoidWalker affected Rift in any way. The only class that does is the bottom perk tree for Stormcaller. Arc Soul is so good that it's basically the de facto Warlock sub class for the Raid. I only play VoidWalker in PvP because Nova Bomb is way better than Storm Trance against other Guardians.

Milestones are the fastest way to level up your Power level, so just pick them up as you do them weekly. If you wait to pick them up you'll be technically missing multiple milestones if you wait for more than a week.

Anything that needs sustained damage, use Coldheart or Sweet Business, as is Merciless. Curtain Call and Sins of the Past are awesome RLs for PvE. Vigilance Wing is a good primary but has issues with ammo. MIDA is really good at long range. Nameless Midnight is great too.

I enjoyed doing adventures as a way to soak up more lore when playing coop with my friends, but I was a little let down by their usefulnesss (or lack thereof) myself. They have said that they want to make Adventures and Lost Sectors more useful for higher level players, but no mention of when that will actually happen. I'm really looking forward to seeing what your impressions are of the raid. Having done it a few times myself, I find it to be fairly straightforward now.

Depends. What PL are you? Past about 270, the best way to level is stick to Powerful Gear milestones. Everything else will continually drop gear that's useless to you (outside of weapons you might want to use in Crucible). Swords require power ammo. A team that commands power ammo is going to mash you, whether it's a sword or a rocket launcher. It would not be any different against a team where someone is constantly running around with Sins of the Past.

How the hell did those dungeons take you 6 hours? Also, the dungeons design is great, what are you TALKING about? Just because you don't like turn based, doesn't mean is an across the board negative. Plenty of people love that. If you want a REALLY bad dungeon, try the first dungeon in Phantasy Star 2. Or really, any dungeon with teleport pads. This is spot on. I play JRPGs for the combat system and dungeons, so this makes a lot of sense. Granted I played on DS, but I loved Crystal Tower and World of Darkness. I haven't felt so much tension in an RPG since. That said, I never died anywhere in the dungeon, but man oh man, was beating the game such an insane relief. I can see dying in there being soul crushing, but conquering it gives you an insane feeling of accomplishment.

I loved Eternal Punishment's cast. It was a breath of fresh air in a series that always has high school kids as the protags. I kinda wish Persona would do that again, and have young adults with actual jobs as the protagonists. No one else would do it. It could be a great opportunity to comment on the shitty side of Japanese work life culture. Work all day, leave the office late at night, and then dungeon with drinking buddies at night. Social links could involve navigating different workplace relationships along with those outside of work.

If I can tell a story of inclusion myself: I'm Indian, born in India, but I grew up in the West. Growing up, I watched all the big 80's cartoons religiously. The only cartoons I can think of that had Indian characters at all were Johnny Quest, and MASK. MASK had a character named Ali Bombay, and of course, because I'm Indian, I clung onto him. He was so cool! He had a green motorcycle that turned into a copter! But I also got into my head that I could never be the hero of my own story. I would always be someone else's sidekick. That, I found really sad. Everyone wants to be the hero of their own story. I grew out of that perception as I got older, naturally, but when I became an adult, that stuck with me. I don't want any kid growing up thinking they can't be the hero of their story. Imagine how much of a motivation killer that can be. "I can never be a leader. Only a follower". I find that reprehensible. THAT is why inclusion is so important. Just like I love to see black people in leading roles, I want to see more Indians in leading roles, being powerful, having agency, and not being just a sidekick.

Wow, that's so much shorter than it used to be. I'm still thinking about raid and dungeon times in vanilla, haha. Man, the time that went into doing Molten Core... So, I assume pre patch is going to include the questlines for the World Tree burning and Battle for Lordaeron? I would think for the average player, having at least a month to explore all of that before BfA launches would be nice. Not everyone can play 5 hours a day.

The best way to farm jewels is tempered monsters, especially tier 2. You get jewels every single time, and could even get some of the best jewels in the game that way.

I honestly think some people just don't know. During Tempered fights these days, even in rando matches, at least 2 flashes get shot the minute he does nova, because enough people know you can do it. I mean, at this point, he's the easiest for seasoned players to fight, given that his nova can be flashed, his escape can be flashed, etc. We keep locking him down and beating the crap out of him.

He's a piece of shit, but totally doable if you make ingot gear and eat for Resistance up L. Get that thunder resist up and use either high elder seal weapons or fire! It's the helm for doing the wiggler event quest.

I realized a couple days ago that you can put crafting on your radial. Flash pod, flashbugs, and flash pod crafting on the radial is essential for Tempered Kushala and Teostra. So so good.

You can start augmenting gear after HR 50. Basically, you need to start fighting tempered monsters. Unfortunately, in order to unlock augmentations, you need to get a weapon augmentation stone, which only seem to drop from tempered elder dragons. So, yeah, get to it!

As a long time Monster Hunter player, I feel like MHW was super hand holdy in the beginning, though not in a bad way, and it's been really interesting to see new players find it really obtuse. I'm surprised you didn't hit 49 after finishing the story. Did you skip doing all the optionals? When I finished the story and finished the two post story assignments, I shot up to 52. You augment at the smithy. Once it's unlocked, you can either augment weaponry or armor. Augmenting armor removes its previous upgrade cap, allowing you to upgrade its DEF further. Augmenting weaponry, however, adds one of five augmentations to the weapon permanently: Attack up, DEF up, Health regen, Additional Jewel Slot, Affinity up.

I do think now more than any other MH game, building a mix of gear for the sake of skills. Think about the biggest flaw and biggest boon of your weapon, and start going through the Smithy to see what skills will shore up your weakness and make your ability stronger. What problem are you having with decorations?

Awww hell yeah. I had done so many quests that right after beating the twin bazelgeuses, I shot right up to HR 49 LOL. Now to help my crew get up to 49, and then take on Tempered Kirin......... It's a less of a dice roll if you look for investigations. That tends to attract the better players, and it's the more efficient way to get gear. I don't think it's story progression, because I'm in post game, and the choice of decorations hasn't increased.

My experience was that Kushala was a pushover with my team, Teostra was really hard, and Vaal ended up being really easy for the members that had 3 Miasma jewels. We've only fought it once, so I'm sure one our second or third run in with Kushala my opinion will change. Vaal is just not an issue anymore. We straight up farm it now. Probably because they want to ground it, but don't realize it kicks you off your mount.

I'm in a good place right now. Hit HR 29, fighting twin bazel tonight to raise my HR again. Full Nerg Beta with Sin DB gives me 50% affinity at full stamina. Wreck shop in demon mode then enjoy tons of crits in archdemon mode. Also just need to do a few Nerg runs to get my Decimation Claws. MHW is in my blood.
