Thread: Monster Hunter World coming to Steam with August 9th release date
I don't know how the whole doom 'n gloom started, but I can assure you there is absolutely nothing to worry about with regards to optimization and performance. From a purely performance perspective, our min spec / rec. spec is generally set on the conservative side to ensure there's enough headroom. As you pointed out, the game is based on our proprietary MT Framework engine. If you're familiar with any of our other games using this tech, you'll know what to expect in terms of performance profile, tweak options, and high scalability that can be adjusted to fit your needs.

Yep, I suppose it's understandable how it can be misinterpreted from a casual observer's POV and assume the worst.

I am alive :) I’ve simply been very busy and haven’t had much time to contribute as much.

As a Capcom guy, I’ll be dabbling on all three platforms. ;-) I’ve only started playing the series from 4U, but it’s been quite a revelation in terms of overall depth of the gameplay. I play with my 12 y/o son on and off over weekends, and it’s been quite fun. Finger cramp is real, so I ended up getting one of these . Such a life saver.

I can not recommend it enough. Go for it. Make sure to get Version 2 — the one I linked above. Difference between Version 1 is the finger rest position for your index (or middle) finger. Version 2 has a much better and natural placement. Feels so gud in hands.

Nice collection! If you love Shmups, you get a hold of Soukyugurentai and Layer Section. Such awesome games.
